I hope you will find it useful (one day :) ). MD IDE is not that good yet (with asp.net), but much is going on now, so maybe in near future... I'm doing devel on VS and exporting to mono server - that works fine so far. That’s great!

You should check out the Monodevelop IDE. It has auto-complete and tool libraries similar to Visual Studio, but they can be a bit tricky to configure.
