Who am I?
Good question, I’m still figuring that out myself! But here is what I allready know:
My name is Dennis Decoene. I own ML Solutions, a micro-ISV.
I live in Lede, Belgium.
I love emerging technologies that have proven there worth. Things like things Web 2.0, Ruby on Rails or NHibernate, stuff like that.
I got my first computer (a MicroProfessor II, which was a clone of an Apple II) at the age of 12, back in ‘86. I then moved on to the renowned Commodore 128 in ‘88. After that I switched to the PC, starting with a 286 and then allmost every cpu Intel or AMD spit out.
I remember that when I turned on the MPFII for the first time, it just sat there… An empty screen with a blinking line was staring at me. I didn’t have a clue what it would oor could do!!!
Since about 1999 I’ve been programming professionally in all kinds of technologies such as C++, VB6, Delphi, …
Where am I going? I would like to spew out a couple of business applications I have ideas for. I do consulting work on Microsoft Dynamics Nav, build custom business solutions on .NET.
Also I would like to get a little more work as an IT business consultant, teaching Scrum and development strategy to IT businesses.
